Franklin D. Roosevelt once said, “A smooth sea never made a sailor.” Like a rough sea makes a sailor, so too does it fuel one’s creativity. When I started working as a seaman I spent my time learning to craft in the traditions of those before me. Later as an officer, I began to draw sketches about my experience at sea and nautical items. I’ve always loved to draw the anchor. One day I had the idea to create my own design. It took two years from creating the design, adjusting the correct dimensions, forging the first blank anchor and establishing the brand. Using pure emotion and metalworking skills I learned as a seaman, I now offer this limited Anchor Pendant to you – My Crew. Inspired by the passion for seafaring we share, I have put our bond into the unique design and production of each anchor.
The Anchor is representative of the stronghold everyone needs in their life, strengthening their faith and trust.
Each Anchor Pendant is sustainably handcrafted in Germany using premium stainless steel and a technique called laser sintering, making each unique pendant durable and built to stand the test of time. Exhibiting the passion that has gone into each handcrafted pendant, my hope is that this pendant will be passed from the working hands of a Captain to “My Crew”, as a reminder to keep yourself anchored to your life and passion.
Each sturdy pendant is resistant to water, heat, and sweat. The Anchor is available in two designs: a small, light, delicately rounded design and a larger, slightly heavier design.
Both come with a silver chain necklace. These pieces are truly limited edition. Only 1,111 pieces have been crafted and each is engraved with its own distinctive number along with my brand.
